Bought this flashlight as a Christmas gift to myself and couldn’t be happier with it!
It’s well made and extremely bright . It sirs in my EDC bag and goes everywhere with me .
I have walked with it at night , and even on the medium setting gives ample light to see where you are going
You won’t be sorry getting this flashlight

This is my second ThruNite handheld flashlight and it is amazing. My first one was the ThruNite TN 12 (2016). It is very similar to this flashlight but requires battery removal to place on a charger. The battery used in this flashlight (18650 rechargeable) holds a charge very well. Brightness on high would be blinding. I use this light from walking the dog to shining my way when fishing in a remote part of Canada at night.
I have dropped both flashlights on concrete and all they have received is a little scratch. Note: I wrap a little self adheasive rubber tape to the top of the flashlight to hold the light by my teeth when necessary. Example: reading a chart that requires two hands.
Switch is nice as it is recessed and will no accidentially turn on.
I carry this light in my coat pocket (little too big for pocket and already have enough on my belt (Leatherman, Pepper Spray, FourSeven Preon P2 flashlight & spare magazine). As mentioned, turn flashlight on before connecting the included USB charging cable. I always have at least one fully charged 18650 battery just in case. Easy to include one when ordering and you will always be prepared.
I really did not “need” a second ThruNite flashlight but I find that this flashlight is indespensible. I will be getting one more TC-12 Rechargable as a gift for a best friend who spends time in the woods after sunset. Also will be getting a headlamp version in the Spring. You might consider this flashlight as an investment as it is a quality product. With that in mind, if you ever have a problem, reach out to customer service first. Hope this review helped “justify” your purchase. Enjoy & Take Care.

Great value and performance

This would make a great light for just about anyone as there is no need to buy a separate charger with the on-board USB charging. The included high capacity 18650 battery, together with a XMAS discount code, made this an unbeatable value. The light levels are practical and well spaced. There is also a good mix of hotspot intensity, giving this light substantial reach, and spill light to illuminate your surroundings. I find it too big to carry comfortably in a pants pocket, but in a coat pocket or bag it's no problem. Would also make a great light for your car with it's USB recharging.
Remember to turn the light ON before attaching the USB cable, and to charge it up when you get it to experience the brightest turbo mode.
Good for 1 month

Heavy equipment tech, have gone through 6 flashlights in 2 months until now. Best flashlight I have bought. Well worth every penny spent.
Excellent flashlight but the case fails

I work as a professional disaster relief housing inspector and I carried this flashlight on my belt for two months and I could charge it at night just by plugging it in. It's a great device. During those 2 months of inspecting homes in TX after Hurricane Harvey it fell out of the case 6 or 7 times usually in the process of getting in and out of my car. I finally lost it for good the last time it fell out of the case. I ordered another one but I don't trust the case enough to carry it on the job so I use a different flashlight instead. 5 star flashlight. 2 star case.
TC12 rechargeable lamp is amazing

Throws long range strong beam and the battery seems to last a long time. Only had this about one week but love it.

This light has terrific performance and is priced more competitively than the larger companies. I was really pleased with lumen output, mode choices and spare gaskets that were included in the box. way yo go, ThruNite.
