Although the highly focused throw of this light limits its use, if you need the distance, there's nothing like it.
Awesome for maritime use.

I use this light for boating. It throws a narrow beam of light a very very long way. When you are looking for a reflective ATN (Aid to Navigation), this light can really find them from far off. The light output is so intense that you can't let if reflect off anything close (like to boat or it's metal rigging) or else the reflected light will overpower your vision. An awesome light, the best I have yet used by a large margin.
I've also found that having the control button just behind the strap attachment allows me to find the button one-handed. A nice feature for me.
Its the best light for me

Easily lights up the distant critters in the valley across the way. The distance and power behind this thing is truly incredible. Believe the hype, it's for real. No scratching issues with mine as others have reported. Top notch! My fourth Thrunite light, I do believe I'm hooked...
Great construction but waiting on batteries

Looks Badass! But I'm still waiting on the batteries so I can turn it on!

Scratches too easily compared to my Fenix flashlights. Performance is as advertised but way TOO expensive. Last Thrunite product I will purchase. I'm a very dissatisfied customer.

The light is great, and unlike the TN40, the light stays much cooler. The only down-fall is the black finish on the light. It easily cracks and peels off from a simple slide on top of a table. The lights in Thrunites line need a BETTER finish. Also, the base clip for the strap scratches up the but of the light and exposes raw silver aluminum. Need a non-metal connector against the light instead of metal to metal.

Diese Lampe hat ordendlich Reichweite,
und ist gut verarbeitet.
Da immer zwei der vier Zellen parallel betrieben werden,
ist der Betrieb auch mit zwei Zellen möglich.

Torch ordered from the official website of the manufacturer, in the period of Christmas sales and arrived by courier balances in 2 days only.
flawless performance, incredible intensity of the spot (640,000 candles) and tint in my version Neutral White NW, very beautiful with white coloring cream on 5000 K. It is not a minor thing to find a flashlight beam well cared for both geometrically and tint.
The abundant size does not make it too heavy, however, so it is rather handy, even more so if you wear the practice shoulder strap, which allows you to walk having the torch always available at your side.
Coming to the less pleasant notes (in a torch from the premium price): When I opened the box, I noticed small signs both outside and inside on the anodization.
As in attached photos I tried to show the scratches, in my opinion I do not think they result from the a imperfect quality control, but I imagine are due to the fact that this flashlight is a case of reconditioned product, the result of a return for unknown reasons by a user (I find deplorable abuse of rendered services that are offered there) that before making it ruined it for his uncarelessness. At this point is the failure to control by ThruNite to ensure a quality standard appropriate to the next client.
I note: a small abrasion in the coupling edge head-parable, an abrasion on the inside of the head, many scratches in the metal that makes contact between + and - pole of the battery carrier, but the worst thing, the end the threaded portion of the torch body is slightly bent, as if it was narrowed with a small grain of sand or other impurities. This could impact on the waterproof level of the flashlight features.
By writing to the customer service I was simply told that these imperfections are the result of the production process, that of quality and delivery control. I felt slightly teased, inadequate customer service in my opinion, as well as quality control.
For the rest, truly phenomenal torch!

This light is amazing it's the brightest flashlight I have ever seen. The best part is the beam is narrow it just cuts through the dark. Seen the review on Viking preparedness. As Mr. Fox said it's a light cannon
This light is AWESOME!

There isn't really much more to say past the title. However, I would like to say that I live in a rural area; so, I was able to actually test the claimed throw of this light. This light lit up a white water tower at 1550 meters away!!! The next leading competitor on the market was unable to do this. In plain english, TN42 > K70. Love this super thrower!!!

Simply put this is a first class amazing flashlight. Its high grade materials combined with best LED technology producing incredible distance as a throw flashlight. You can not find anything better than this for distance, quality and fit and finish. Only thing you need to know is it does NOT come with batteries so you must purchase batteries in addition. You will not be disappointed.I also have a TN 40 which is an amazing flashlight as well just less distance and more flood to it.

Lit up a white location marker on an peninsula over a lake
I guess it was a 1/2 mile or better away, the light wasn't
even on turbo. Aimed at the sky on turbo and it reminded
me of the military search lights from the fifties and sixteys.
This is my first real flashlight.
