  1. Great Headlamp 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Jan 2018

Very bright light on turbo mode however I find the most useful light to be on the medium setting. Doesn’t feel heavy while wearing it and the battery life is very good. Just wish I could’ve bought the cool white version but that one was out of stock at the time of purchase. However the neutral white does prove to be very bright as well.

  2. Yes, the TH10 is "Almost Perfect" 4 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Dec 2017

I had originally ordered my TH10 in Jan. 2017.
It was returned and replaced because of a constant blinking problem after 3 months of use. The 2nd model I received also displays the same blinking after some extended use. I now think that it has to with the thermal throttle control/ internal heat protection/low cell circuitry indicator, etc. Still, the TH10 is an extremely useful headlamp. If Thrunite could add the ramping firmware used in their TH20 to the TH10, it would solve the power control issues and make it a more useful unit overall. Really a great headlamp for most indoor and outdoor use.

  3. Almost perfect 4 Star Review

With a TC12 V12 as reference, you quickly find out that the interface is different, which can be a bit confusing at first. Also, there is no micro USB charging port - you have to remove the battery to charge it. This explains the headline of my review "almost perfect".

I was fully aware of these differences but I decided to buy this headlamp anyway because it beats the competition on all other aspects that are important to me: runtime, aluminium body, IPX-8, neutral white light. I really look forward to use this headlamp for Geocacing adventures in the dark; from cave exploration to rock climbing at night. I know I have a robust companion that I can rely on in harsh conditions. And I get to keep both hands free!

  4. Surgical Headlight 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Nov 2017

I bought this headlight to use for surgery in the austere environment. It did well and outperformed other headlights I have used in the past. It is durable, has rechargable batteries, travels well, and while not the brightest, it does have one of the brightest settings for 2 hours. Stays on the head in its directed position. I would recommend it for any surgeon wanting a bright enough light for austere surgery.
