  1. So confusing... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Feb 2017

F:"Someone's coming. Turn off your headlamp!"
M:"Why should I have got one? We're still in daylight!"
F:"No! It's 2 in the morning and you're wearing your NEW ThruNite TH10!!!"
    M:"Sorry. That's so comfortable, I didn't feel it"

  2. A useful Headlamp 4 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2017

The light has a great choice of output levels, great for indoor, (warehouse, garage), and , for
outdoor use the lens gives a proper spot (whether near or far) with and sufficient amount of light to allow you to clearly identify surrounding
objects. The unit is well crafted, feels solid, yet not too heavy.Overall, I gave this Headlamp 4 Stars because it is a great unit but could
use a few, minor design revisions to make it greater. Observations/Suggestions: (Again) A good, possibly great headlamp for those of us who enjoy working with our ands. In the future, the Lamp's shaft should have a smooth
machined ridge (indentation) knurled on each side to accommodate the rubber holder bracket thus allowing the user to quickly raise/
lower the light as needed and reduce wear and tear on the rubber holder. My TH10 has gone ino a "blink/flash" (non strobe) mode oftentimes when I am in the middle of working on something (when most needed). Overheat/Thermal/Low Battery Protection features are great but
should not impair the end user from seeing what they need to see. NOTE: The TN20 has a switch that would probably serve this Torch better with the low, med, high, reverse cycle, etc. Additionally, I would have liked to have the option to flip the head strap over to
the solid black no-name/no logo side. Also, I
purchased the TN12 (2016) with the TN10 but when I factored the cost of ThruNite 18650 Battery 3400mAh*2 at $26.95 with the total cost of both Torches,I found it far too costly to warrant the additional purchase. Still, I would like to
obtain a set of ThruNite 18650 Batteries to
see if the units perform better on the
    recommended 18650's Thrunite sells.

  3. The only headlamp that you need 4 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jan 2017

This is my first headlamp, but I'm really impressed. This light puts out more than enough light for walking the dog at night, walking in the woods doing camp chores, and spelunking. The reason for four stars is that the firefly mode is just too weak. It may work well for reading a book/map in the dark or to show a driver that you're walking along the road after dark, but I haven't tested it for either or these. Also, the cool white version really isn't that cool. The hotspot is very warm (not necessarily a bad thing), but the spill does have a light blue hue to it. It just wasn't what I expected. Also, the paperwork that came in the box was a little confusing. The box and amazon X0 label both indicate that the light is cool white; however, the paperwork says that it only outputs 750 lumens; whereas, Thrunite's website claims 825 lumens. Either way, I still really like this light, and for the price and build quality, I don't think it can be beat.

  4. The BEST head-light 5 Star Review

I love this head-lite ! I had originally bought another company's head-lite [ best-fire or something like that ] and was VERY disappointed . Then I found Thrunite and decided to try this lite the TH-10 Head-lite and was blown away by the solidly built quality and perfect beam and have never looked back and have since bought another TH-10 head-lite as a back-up . This Head-lite cost one quarter of the other companies lite and is 100 times better . Just buy it you will like it .

  5. AWSOME 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jan 2017

Very nice headlight. I'm 70 years young and have had alot of lights and still do have alot and this is by far one of the top 2. A little heavy but not that much to cause a problem. The light that it puts out is well worth it. GET ONE Can't beat it for the price. :-)

  6. Headlamps rock 5 Star Review

Gathering up firewood at night from my backyard wouldn't be the same without my th10 headlamp ready to jump into turbo mode if I feel like seeing my entire back yard light up

  7. Great Light in Small Package 5 Star Review

I have several head lamps but this one is the best by far. Very bright and comfortable to wear.

  8. Headlamp Review 4 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Oct 2016

Quality is good, plenty bright, nice to have hands free. I own several Thrunite flashlights. Was tired of only working with one hand or looking for a place to wedge a flashlight. This lamp follows your work perfectly. Only issue is its weight. You have to adjust it frequently or have the headband tight..which I don't like.

  9. Room for improvement 3 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Aug 2016

This lamp is bright but doesnt appear to be 825 lumens. The headlamp sits in a rubber headset which does not have a positive adjustment such as the plastic headset of the streamlight headlamp. I find myself periodically adjusting the headlamp. If the headset could be made with a more positive adjustment it would definately be worthy of 5 stars.

  10. Great lamp but heavy and hot 4 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Jul 2016

The brightness on this lamp is terrific, and the harness for your head is also well made. The lamp itself is heavy, and I wouldn't recommend it for long periods of wear. On the turbo brightness setting, and even on the full setting, the lamp gets very hot.

Not ergonomic to your forehead. Hurt after a few minutes.

  14. Best headlight out 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Oct 2015

Owning many thrunite lights, I expected nothing but the best. Thrunite did an amazing job on this light and is definitely the best you can get. I have tried many other headlights but they all let me down. Finally thrunite has developed one that meets my standards. I use this light during hunting season and it sure makes hiking through thick bush alot easier.
