I received the flashlight a few weeks ago and have had the opportunity to use and carry it as my work EDC and camping. I am a firefighter/paramedic captain in a city.
Overall I really do like the light and have not really seen it's equal for my carry purposes, but there are a few things lacking that would make it a great 5 star light.
Let's start with the Pro's
#1 First and foremost it is the brightest light for the size I have found.
#2 It is the smallest and easiest to carry 26650 light I have found.
#3 It is easy to operate.
#4 It is a good value and price point.
#5 easy to charge in the vehicle with micro USB
#6 It can tail stand.
#7 I like the "floody" not narrow spot of the light as I am in a city and need the light in rooms, alleys and rarely longer than 50 yards.
Now the CONS:
#1 The switch though it functions well is difficult to feel and locate quickly in the dark, even without gloves. It could use a more tactile switch.
#2 I have had several occasions that the light has gotten switched on in it's case, The switch could be more protected from accidental activation.
#3 I would love to have a protected tail switch (So it could still tail stand) that could activate turbo and strobe. Note: I don't think any of the 26650 lights have this but it would just be an awesome addition!!!
#4 I would like if the strobe were slower and irregular, better for disorienting.
Best flash light I have ever owned

Small and powerful

This small light got an universal beam for indoor, city and all around the house. It feels very comfortable in the hand and is easy to use. One of my favorite 26650 battery flashlight. I have a cool and a neutral white one, because I couldn't decide. CW is near neutral and neutral is near warm white light.
The Perfect Light

Love this light so much bought three of them for use in the car, the house & another as a gift. USB rechargeable is the only way to go these days (IMO). 5000 mAh & 3800 lumens provide great run times & lots of light for impressive distances. Light weight & small enough for jacket & cargo pants pockets. Has a good feel in your hand & cycling through the modes is simple enough & more or less intuitive. Less than a week after it arrived I ran across a car accident in the middle of the middle of a highway on a pitch black night, luckily no one was hurt. The strobe mode alerted & slowed traffic perfectly until the police arrived. Suggestion: I think the battery is big enough to double as a back up mobile phone power pack ... if it had an outgoing USB port & capability. Might come in handy in a pinch. Great flashlight none the less, couldn't be more pleased.

The flashlight is incredibly bright and just fantastic for everyday use. The quality is as always good, the size fits in every jacket pocket and the light menu including the good switch great. good better tc20
Great little 26650 Flashlight

Very nice build quality with good materials. Useful bright gradually with long endurance in high and also turbo.
I like the cw version very much.
Great beam, good for have a walk with your dogs.
The added 26650 battery unfortunately not the best. I use it with an Imalent 26650 battery an the flashlight is more powerful und keep the output much longer than with the original battery.
Big Light Small Size

The TC20 has big light power in a very convenient size. The form factor is excellent, and so is the build quality. Incredible power from this flashlight! Buy one you won’t be disappointed.

Like the tc20 so far. brightness is great and the beam pattern is excellent. My only wish is for a level 0f 700-800 lumens,as the jump from 300 to 1800 is too large.Interface is good, and I like that a long press from firefly gets me to low, so you don't have to turn on the light in an unknown brightness level.Once you get used to two long presses, it's great.Very solid light, like my V5 catapult, well done
The cover for the charging port cover fell off the first time I was wearing it in the holster on my belt, and I lost it.

Need to work on the charging port cover. I would like to find out how to replace it.

Unbelievably Bright Light

The main use of the light is to take the dogs out in the back yard at night . When I put it on the highest power is like turning the stadium lights on for a night game.
Powerful, yet Compact

The 26650 5 amp-hour battery required for this light is the same length as, but appreciably wider than, the 18650 3.5 amp-hour battery that we have become familiar with, so the diameter at the tail end of the knurling is 1.25 in. rather than the 1" (±) to which we are accustomed, making the tail cross-section 1.56 times as large as, say the TC 10. That, with the wide head diameter of 1 11/16" and the shorter length (4 11/16") gives this flashlight a much 'clunkier' look than most of the 1,000 lumen EDC lights we see. But those dimensions make its tail down stance very stable even with the lanyard (which comes off the side of the base) attached. The shorter length is, in part, achieved because the lack of a tail switch eliminates the need for a guard.
The USB recharge port seals well (when you press it firmly).
The on/off/mode switch on the side near the head is well thought out. Just turning it on will not yield either firefly, turbo, or strobe mode, but you can go to any one of these directly from 'off', and the light 'remembers' which of the other 3 modes was used last.
Despite the TC20's less than gracile look, I find it quite suitable as an EDC flashlight.
The sheath provided has proven adequate so far, though it could be sturdier. For that and the lack of a tail switch (which is partially offset by above-mentioned considerations), I have withheld one star, albeit somewhat reluctantly. Given the power, quality of construction, and the price point, I find this to be a very good value.
