Amazing pure thrower, almost perfect
Posted by Jazz on 15th Dec 2018
If you need and want a pure thrower in this small form factor, this is hard to beat. I am astounded, even on medium this light is sending light so far and so tight. I have little need for turbo, but it sure seems like it's putting out more lumens than the claimed 1700. The little bit of spill is useless so you have to know what you're getting. Mine arrived with a missing/damaged charge port cover, but Thrunite customer service is sending me a replacement. Also the power button is difficult to feel. I plan on sticking a small clear silicone cabinet door bumper on it to help me find it without having to look for it.
A Great Flashlight

I really do like this flashlight. The light potential is outstanding and in such a small platform.
Pros: Small footprint. It fits nicely in your hand. And easy to carry...the case is really good. And seems very durable. The throw is unbelievable.
Cons: Do not like the on/off button. It is hard to find in the dark. The button should be raised higher and have a better definition so the user can find it on the flashlight in total darkness. It is easier to find it when the light itself is on, because the button lights up....however this shortcoming requires you to have to look at the flashlight to find the button. Forget about finding it by feel, with gloves on. Also, it does heat up with extended use in the turbo mode.
Summary: The drawback from the button would not stop me from buying it again. This is advertised as an 1700 lumens flashlight. I have seen it compared with a flashlight that claims to have a 3200 lumens output. That flashlight does not compare to this one. It is bright, but the throw is nowhere as good as this flashlight.
I would recommend this flashlight and I would purchase it again.....

I own several Thrunite flashlights, and have owned every one in the Catapult series. I did however loose my original in an apartment fire.
I am a police officer and have used several different flashlights in my 17 years of law enforcement and I gotta tell you, these are the best lights I've owned for searchin for subjects at night. The only thing that I wish your company would add to the light is a tailcap switch / button, or at least make the button easier to find without having to look at the light as that could put an officer in a bad position, looking down at the light and taking our eyes off a suspect. But other than that, in my opinion, a perfect light.
Ok, maybe one other thing for law enforcement purposes, a strike bezel. Other than those minor issues, a perfect light.
Excellent Throw, Great Size

I love this light. I use it for late night hikes with the dog to help me locate him from long distances. Only recommendation is even with the knurling, the light is still really smooth and could use some better grip.

Bought this light to compliment my th30 and couldn't be happier with it. It's a handheld spotlight with hundreds of meters of throw. I prefer thrunite lights because of their small size, great power and easy recharging.
Nice and bright.

Thrunite Catapult V6 Review
Posted by Unknown on 10th Nov 2018
The Thrunite Catapult V6 is solid built with amazing distance capabilities for its small size but does get hot after a few minutes on Turbo.
The (almost) perfect package!
Posted by Connor on 7th Nov 2018
Utilizing the 26650 battery format, the Catapult is capable of sustaining long run times and high output. The large reflector catapults light long distances with ease, it also allows the light to remain cool for extended periods.
The larger battery also makes for a comfortable grip when compared to the more common 18650 battery tubes found on smaller throwers. The grip on the Catapult is very comfortable.
My only negative comes with the charging. I love the ability to recharge the light through the micro usb port and the rubber flap has the best seal I’ve seen on a light (it’s like a suction cup, perfect for moisture protection!). What kills me is the insistence to stick to micro usb instead of using the objectively superior usb c port. Other than that nitpick it’s been a great light so far!

Just received my catapult V6 flashlight today. After unboxing I took the light out for a test run To put it simply Amazing. I can believe how small the light is . Perfect fit for my hand. The throw beats other lights that I have with higher lumens. The fit and finish are top notch, The reflector is very smooth and perfectly polished. I can’t wait to get my tn42. I highly recommend Trunite for anyone looking for a superior flashlight. Shipping was less than a week.
Thank you, from a very satisfied customer.
Best Practical Thrower
Posted by Jeffrey Zeik on 29th Oct 2018
There are better throwers out there, but they are so big you need a shoulder strap! This is the best compact thrower period. Thrunite is known for build quality, and this light is no exception. Can easily see a quarter mile away, which buys critical seconds in an emergency situation. Price is right, service is on point with regular updates, and was in my hand in 3 days.

Thrunite with another excellent light. Super far throw with the catapult, very impressive in such a compact size. The Catapult and TC20 are the only lights you should ever need.

Best handheld thrower
Posted by Brock on 24th Sep 2018
I have owned this flashlight for a few months now and I love it. It has the furthest throw of all my flashlights and I love the functionality. It has a nice, tight hot spot which lights up objects very far away. The lumen output setting are nicely spaced out and thought through. The flashlight is easy to use. It is usb rechargeable and feels like a quality flashlight. Best search and rescue light for the money! I highly recommend this flashlight.
