  3. So far, so good 4 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Jan 2018

I have only owned this this flashlight for around three weeks.
During this time, I dropped it by mistake from around two feet, and it's fine. Used it at -25 C for around 45 min. with no problems. My initial review is 4 stars, but these are early days.
I do wish that Thrunite would make a mount for bicycle handlebars, and I will contact them directy about this.

  4. great 2 aa flashlight 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Dec 2017

This is a beautiful and well made small but powerful flashlight. Wow! 500 lumins of sunlight tint from a 2 cell AA alkaline powered flashlight with the lower brightness at useful points and a side switch control for brightness. Clicky tail switch for on/off. Three minute timer prevents overheating at the 500 lumin level So far no problems at all. Great value at $35.

  5. Great product for the price 4 Star Review

Ok is not the brightest light ever built but it is bright for the price. Love how it stores your last brightness that you used.

  6. Excellent light for EDC 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Dec 2017

This is a fantastic flashlight that I originally bought for work but am now using for EDC. The 500 lumen turbo has a nice throw and is great for lighting up the treeline while I'm out in the early morning walking my pup. I love the fact that the strobe function is not easily activated on accident. A huge selling feature was that it takes AA batteries I prefer to keep all my electronics on the same one or two battery types. For two AA's this light is sure as hell bright.

  7. Archer 2A V3 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Nov 2017

Installed 2AA batteries and what kind of shaman powers is this? This is bright for a 2AA light. 500 lumens. Nice. Love it. You throw this thing to a polar bear and it still works. Ty Thrunite!

  8. Good but problem with power switch 3 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Oct 2017

I'm on my second one of these. I love the brightness! However, after having my first one for less than 2 months, it stopped working. After messing around with it, the problem seems to be with the power switch/button. Have returned it for replacement. I got a second one a few weeks ago and it seems to have the same problem. I have to be very careful how the cap is put on - too tight or too loose and it won't work. There's some kind of malfunction in the power button where the cap makes contact with the batteries. If they fix this problem, this would be a 5 star flashlight!

  9. Very nice product 4 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Jul 2017

I own the 2A V2, and was curious how it compared to the new 2A V3. With both turned on at the same time at Max Output, they both dimmed down after 3.5 minutes. While in Max mode, their wasn't much difference in brightness except that the 2A V3 cast a wider spread. Its possible that it throws longer than the 2A V2, but I didnt test it. The 2A V3 is about a quarter inch shorter than the 2A V2, and has a narrower bezzle. Moonlight mode is perfect for use in a tent, without disturbing others. Both are excellent lights for multiple applications.

  10. Good Light, Great Value 4 Star Review

This is among the best flashlights out there and available for a very reasonable price. The small size make it perfect for kids; sleep overs, summer camp, etc.

  11. Wow 5 Star Review

Very happy with this product would recommend it to friends and family

  13. Good product but not great 3 Star Review

Posted by on 29th Dec 2016

The overall quality of the Archer A2 V3 is quite good but I am disappointed with the performance. I expected it to be better. The maximum brightness seems to less than what I expected 500 lumens to be, and the stiffness and very long press of the switches are greater than they need to be, in my opinion.

  14. Best 2AA you can get 4 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Dec 2016

It's a very nice flashlight. Very bright, easy to operate and edc. What I don't like is the grip is not on the whole flashlight. Other than that its perfect.

  15. Well worth the money 4 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Sep 2016

I've had the light for just about two months. I use it every day. It has been dropped from 10 feet a few times, left on over night on 'low' mode and still plenty of battery life. The brightness settings are fantastic. Construction is the best I've seen. It seems to be a great value! I would have given a 5 star rating but I've only had it for two months. If I get 5 years out of it, I'll never purchase another brand. So far it's rock solid in every way!
