    2 years of daily use

Posted by Dane on 7th Aug 2021

Bought this flashlight in early 2019 for work. I work in a factory with low to no lighting in some areas so it gets used daily and frequently. The aluminum body while showing its age has held up extremely well, with most of the wear being around the rear where my keys rub against it. The grip checkering still has an edge to it and the clip is still tight and shows no signs of coming off without forcing it. The LED is sti as bright as ever and while it is not recommended I can attest that the light performs very well for extended periods on the brightest setting when you need it to. My only issue I have ever had is with the plate that holds the spring in place coming loose every so often, however some locktite fixes that. The black finish Is only worn away where the aluminum is chipped off as well. 4 stars only because of my backplate issue. Will be buying another thrunite when this one dies.

High quality product with excellent light producing ability. The use of AA batteries makes it very easy to keep powered.

    great flashlight

I love this light . It's as bright or brighter than much bulkier lights I've had, but the compact size is easy to handle or put in a pocket. It seems to be very well made - I'm optimistic that it will last a long time.

    Brite Lite

This small little flashlight packs an extremely powerful punch! Far better than any other mini flashlight I’ve tried. Don’t be deceived by the price, it’s worth every penny. I plan to purchase additional for each car and one for each floor of my home.

    Really nice 2AA flashlight

Posted by Kirk on 22nd Nov 2019

I really like this flashlight. Really bright in turbo but it says turbo turns off after 10 minutes. If there's one thing I would want changed, it would be the brightness setting just below turbo was in the 150 lumen range instead of 75 lumens. 150 lumens is a good running brightness, 75 as the next brightness down from the 500 lumen turbo is a little dim and too much of a drop off for how good this light is in my opinion. If they made one that had 500 - 200 - 50 - firefly(0.5 lumens), I'd want it!!

    ThruNite Archer 2A V3

Posted by Unknown on 15th Nov 2019

The ThruNite Archer 2A V3 is a powerful compact flash light with brighter illumination than others costing twic as much. And it uses AA batteries.

Btw, what is this crap about having to wait 30 minutes between reviews? You sent me an email asking me to review two different flash light. Then when I take my time to do so and send one in you tell me I have to wait 30 minutes to send another. That's ridiculous. Guess what happens the next time you ask for a review.

    Wow!

Posted by Jonathan on 27th Dec 2018

BRIGHT! Wow! Many times brighter than my 2nd gen Surefire and with adjustable settings for how bright. The lowest setting is very low...I can't tell it's even on in daylight or a lighted room

The brightest setting will BLIND a person temporarily, even in the middle of the day.

Ordered 3 of these, as they were inexpensive enough to give one to other people also. Using the AA battery is a huge plus.

    Good show so far, ThruNite!

I will do another review in a year or so for endurance.

especially like the warm white light

I have two of these, the only weakness I have noticed is the switch, sometimes it won't come on on first press, and sometimes it also goes off momentarily on its own.
